DETAILS

The Epic Armoury Barmace is a crude-looking blunt weapon with four long flanges. The mace is 69 cm long from point to pommel, with four reinforced 55 cm flanges running from the point to the crossguard. The mace is finished with a rough layer of steel-colored latex to give the impression of a weapon capable of crushing heavy armor in the hands of a seasoned footman, or serving as an essential accessory in a highway robbery. The round, split leather-wrapped handle is 15 cm long and is framed by a small crossguard and a flat, ringed pommel.

The style is ideal for rough-and-ready warriors who rely on experience and simple power, or for the Orc who needs a fierce-looking mace. Made with durable closed-cell foam around a solid fiberglass core and finished with a strong latex coating, you can be sure that your LARP weapon will provide the safety and appeal you desire when building your battlefield kit.

HISTORY

• A similar bar mace was found in an excavation of the River Thames around 1300 AD.
