Our replica of a medieval hanging pot is hand forged from iron. It is ideal for any camp, be it larp, ​​reenactment or rustic outdoor event.

With its upper hook you can attach it to any tripod. As it is flat, you can also place it on pots or directly on stones in the fire.



The pan is made of stainless steel. To protect it from corrosion, it is lightly oiled.



Please note the following care instructions:


Before using it for the first time, this iron pan must first be properly fried . It is important that it is first thoroughly cleaned with hot water, a brush or sponge and detergent and then dried. Then add enough cooking oil on high heat (you can also use lard) to the pan until the bottom is completely and well covered. The oil is then heated strongly. Then raw potato peels or slices with a teaspoon of salt are added to the pan and fried until the bottom of the pan turns dark and the potato pieces have turned a dark brown after turning them several times. Then the empty and cooled pan is simply wiped with a piece of toilet paper.
Iron pans should not come into contact with detergent after initial cleaning and treatment. Cleaning in the dishwasher is also a taboo. After use, the iron is cleaned only with household paper and, if necessary, with hot water. The pan should then be lightly oiled again.
