Audiobook: The Dark Warriors by Bernard Cornwell
Translated by Karolina Fell
Part 9 of the exciting Viking saga
Peace in England is fragile. Now that æthelflæd, King Alfred's daughter, rules Mercia, and she and her vassal and lover Uhtred protect its northern border, the empire seems secure. But then a powerful force of Irish and Northman allies advances. Their leader is the fearsome and fearless Ragnall Iverson. However, Ragnall's brother is Uhtred's son-in-law, and so the warrior is drawn into a personal conflict. What is more important: the loyalty of a vassal or that of your own family?
