The author:
Bernard Cornwell, born in London and raised in Wessex, worked successfully as a BBC television reporter for many years. In 1980 he followed his American wife to Cape Cod, where he still lives and writes. Cornwell has already celebrated triumphs in the United States and England with a series of novels about the Napoleonic Wars. In Germany he became known for his King Arthur trilogy and his Nordmann saga about the Saxon warrior Uhtred.

Gerd Andresen is an artistic speaker and presenter on radio and television (SWR) (i.e. Arte), actor and cabaret artist.
