Epic Armoury's Gambeson Arms are a set of padded cotton vambraces designed to add comfort and protection beneath your armor. Made of quilted cotton canvas lined with a soft polyester interior and a medium cotton outer layer, they can be worn alone or as padding under heavy steel or leather armor. Archers can also benefit from the added protection from bowstrings. Add this comfort without the warmth of a full Gambeson shirt, specially designed for a costume without a cuirass or tassels.

Gambeson armbands are sewn to ensure the padding remains evenly spaced. Secure them to your armbands by tightening the cotton thread that runs through the brass grommets up the forearm. Padded armor was common in many cultures and was used for a wide period of time. With its neutral style, Gambeson Armbands will work on a wide variety of figures.
