Gothic plate armor, chest and back armor, 1.2 mm steel



This elaborate and wonderfully detailed replica of a late medieval suit of armour is made from 1.2mm (18 gauge) steel and consists of a cuirass and back armour.



While the breast piece is fitted with triple-sliding belly hoops (or faulds ) to protect the hips, waist, groin and abdomen, the handsome back piece is decorated with a wide, flared culet . i>complete, consisting of two wavy plates, also situated one above the other, and protecting the buttocks. Both the belly hoops and the culet are articulated by means of steel rivets. Both the obverse and reverse display the striations, filigree cutouts and multi-layered design that were typical of late medieval Gothic plate armour (15th and 16th centuries). The inside of the armour is blackened for better protection against corrosion.



In this upper body cuirass, the two halves are joined together by adjustable 3mm thick leather straps with steel buckles. This means that it can be adjusted to fit a variety of sizes. The straps and buckles are firmly riveted at shoulder height and on the sides of the breastplate and back.



It should be noted that this harness, while fully wearable, is not suitable for combat use. However, it is not only a great collector's item, display piece or decorative object, but is also ideal for representing a variety of historical and fictional or fantasy characters. Ideal for medieval reenactment, larp, ​​stage or cosplay, this plate armour will make your transformation into a proud and noble knight or warrior simply perfect.
