Gothic Steel Armor – The Fortress of a Medieval Dusk Knight

Crisscrossed by majestic lines and defensive curves, this Gothic plate armor evokes the solemnity of the knights who marched under the banners of the Holy Roman Empire, when the Middle Ages were coming to an end and the art of war reached its highest expression.

Full breastplate in 1.2 mm steel with 15th century details

This piece faithfully reproduces a late medieval breastplate from the 15th-16th century, composed of an articulated breastplate and backplate , forged in 1.2 mm (18 gauge) steel . The front part incorporates triple-segment articulated faulds to protect the hips, abdomen and groin , while the back sports a wide double-plate culet , which elegantly protects the lower torso. The entire assembly is articulated with steel rivets , allowing freedom of movement without sacrificing defense.

The vertical grooves , filigree cutouts, and layered design reflect the distinctive style of Gothic armor. The interior is blackened , providing corrosion protection .

Thanks to the adjustable leather straps and steel buckles , this armor fits comfortably on different builds. It's fully functional and wearable , though not suitable for actual combat, making it perfect for historical reenactment, cosplay, LARP, or as a decorative display piece .
