Takeda Shingen (1521-1573) was a Japanese warlord and prince. He was an ally of Oda Nobunaga and was regarded as a military and organizational genius. He was one of the greatest samurai princes of his time and at the same time an intelligent ruler of his people.

The armor is wearable (for average body size and shape) and comes in a box decorated with traditional Japanese painting, which together with a wooden frame provides a decorative yet sturdy display for this beautiful armor.
