Whether you're a novice or a veteran, you rely on solid armor to protect you. Epic Armoury's RFB Veteran Armor is a stylish leather breastplate designed to protect your torso from damage. The armor is constructed from chrome-tanned split leather and carefully stitched around the edges to create a simple yet aesthetic design with lines that suggest a slim waist and broad shoulders. Secure it firmly over your chest and abdomen using the four sturdy leather straps, each riveted with decorative brass studs, and brass buckles. The strong leather lacing on the flanks allows you to further adjust the fit if necessary.
With an additional soft leather hem to prevent warping with overuse, this armor will withstand any LARP abuse you can throw at it. The breastplate matches our veteran greaves and bracers, but has a distinctive, neutral style that will fit with almost any costume combination from the medieval and Renaissance periods. Wear it over chain mail or a padded gambeson, or, for a more casual look, over a tunic or doublet, when you embark on your next adventure.
Available in black and brown, and in sizes S, M, L and XL. XL.

Maintenance
Natural leather products are very durable but require regular maintenance with leather care products to stay supple and increase their lifespan. Make sure your leather products stay dry when stored. Let wet leather dry naturally before treating it. If it gets wet and dries frequently, increase the frequency of maintenance.
Cleaning
Clean by removing dirt with a stiff brush, then gently rub leather soap with a clean, damp cloth until the leather looks clean. Remove the soap with a separate damp cloth to clean any soap residue, and then use a dry cloth to wipe away any remaining water from the leather.
Conditioning
You should always condition leather after cleaning it, as the soap will have removed some of its natural oils. Treat the leather with mink oil, olive oil, or beeswax using a clean cloth, gently rubbing a small amount of oil or wax into the leather in circles. Allow the leather to soak in the oil before wiping it with a final clean cloth to remove excess residue.
