Plate armour, cuirass and back, 16th century, 1.6 mm steel



This replica of a late medieval or Renaissance armour, as worn in the 16th century, consists of a breastplate and a backplate. It is made of approximately 1.6 mm steel and is therefore only suitable to a limited extent for show combat. The armour is blackened on the inside for better protection against corrosion. The edges are scalloped at the neckline, armholes and bottom edge.



In this upper body cuirass, the two halves are connected to each other by adjustable leather straps and buckles, which are firmly riveted at shoulder height and on the side of the back.



This wearable plate armour is equally suitable for light combat, medieval reenactment, larp, ​​stage, tv/film and costume and will make your transformation into a proud knight or warrior simply perfect.

The steel used here is not stainless and may show slight signs of corrosion. We recommend taking care of plate armour regularly, for example with Ballistol, a universal oil ideal for preserving steel products.
