This beautifully crafted stud is made of solid, vegetable-tanned wood (full-grain leather, approx. 3 mm). The top and bottom edges are additionally hemmed with fine leather. Metal plates are riveted to the front piece, giving the stud an armor-like character. The leather surface is then polished and colored, giving it its characteristic used look.

The leather corsage is made up of individual pieces with decorative hand-stitched seams . The center back is tied with a leather strap. The laces allow the corsage to be individually adjusted.
The lacing holes are reinforced with metal eyelets and are therefore durable.

The bodice is particularly suited to giving a snug fit to the often full medieval dresses and highlighting the feminine body's strengths. Whether for shield maidens, cosplay, or steampunk, leather bodices are versatile and always in fashion, even in today's fashion.
