Medieval knight armor, full plate armor with stand



This reconstruction of a Gothic knight's armor is made of 1.2 cm thick steel plate. This armor is primarily a decorative piece. Because all the parts are movable, it is definitely portable.



The full armor consists of the following components:

- Helmet (pelvic hood / gugel for dogs) with side-hinged visor, adjustable leather insert and adjustable cowhide chin strap

- Arms: armpits (plates with shoulder breakers), upper tubes and forearm, elbow pads

- Gauntlets with inner glove made of split leather with adjustable leather strap

- Harness, consisting of chest and back armor with belly rings and leg pockets

- Legs: diechlings, leg tubes, knee tiles

- Armored shoes (also called sabatons )



Includes a sturdy metal presentation stand/truss stand with generous slots and a rectangular wooden pedestal (comes unassembled).

Please note:

In the Middle Ages, plate armour was usually made to measure. We offer a standard size for a man of average height and a height of 1.75 cm to approximately 1.80 cm. Some size adjustment is possible thanks to the adjustable straps riveted with buckles, but we would like to remind you that you should not expect a 100% fit with armour like this.

To ensure the armor is right for you, remember to take your measurements with the gambeson (and/or any other garments or chains you plan to wear underneath).



The steel used here is not stainless and may show slight signs of corrosion. We recommend taking care of plate armour regularly, for example with Ballistol, a universal oil ideal for preserving steel products.
