Samura water stone with 5000 grit size

Samura sharpening stones are suitable even for very hard blades with a hardness of 58 HRC or more. All abrasive grains of this sharpening stone are completely homogeneous to ensure a uniform and high-quality grinding.

When grinding, you start with a coarse grain size and then move on to increasingly finer grain sizes. Ideally, successive grain sizes should each be 2 to 3 times finer.

The following can be used as a guide:
- For heavy duty work, to remove nicks or if the tool is very dull, a stone with a grit size of 120 to 400 is recommended.
- For normal sharpening work, a stone is recommended. The appropriate grit size is 700 to 2000.
- To remove fine burrs and polish surfaces, use grit sizes 3000 to 2000. 12000.

To prevent the stone from slipping off the work surface when sharpening, it is supplied with a non-slip holder.
