Delight in Scandinavian Amulet, Jewelry Pendant from the Vendel Period, 6th-7th Centuries.
Scandinavian amulet, jewelry pendant from the Vendel period, 6th-7th centuries.
The motif of this beautiful Scandinavian amulet was inspired by an original find from the Vendel period. In 1870, four helmet plates were found at a burial site on the Björnhovda farm near Torslunda on the Swedish island of öland. One of the four bronze plates was adorned with this image of a warrior from the Vendel period.
Whether at medieval markets, Viking events, reenactment events or simply in modern everyday life, men and women can wonderfully round off their outfit with this beautiful brass jewellery pendant. Combined with a simple necklace or a leather strap, this piece of jewellery will attract everyone's attention.
