Hand-forged, twisted iron pliers

These hand-forged iron pliers consist of two arms, each forged from a single piece, connected by rivets through a U-shaped piece of flexible steel. The surface is untreated to give the pliers a rustic character.

Each half of the tongs is tightly twisted (twisted around itself), which not only guarantees an attractive appearance but also ensures a better grip. The arms end with claw- or fork-shaped gripping surfaces. The tongs can be used as barbecue tongs or as fire tongs/coal tongs to properly distribute, stack, or move coal or fuel when grilling or lighting a fire.

This fine and solid piece of ironwork may not be an authentic, historically proven medieval accessory, but it is still a rustic tool or accessory that will visually enhance your camp or field kitchen. Whether in the home garden or on the medieval market, it's also a great addition to any rustic brazier or cooking fire pit.
