Pearl gift needles, set of 5
Throughout the Middle Ages, needles were used with a certain decorative value, such as gift pins, clothing pins or hairpins. They were used, for example, to hold veils or to hold pin sleeves.
These handmade pins are made of brass wire and filed to a point. The wire is soft enough to allow the head to be turned and strong enough to go through the garment. The head of the needle is decorated with a wooden bead.
