The Ultra-Tek Knife Sharpener is a practical solution for keeping your Kershaw blades sharp. The Ultra-Tek is a compact sharpening steel that allows you to quickly and effortlessly retouch the edge of your Kershaw knife anytime, anywhere. The handle is made of anodized 6060-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum.

When closed, the handle houses a diamond-coated sharpening rod with an oval cross-section. The 600 grit is ideal for setting an edge that's in good overall condition but has just become dull. Simply unscrew the rod from the handle, turn it over, and screw it back into the top of the handle. Dunun comfortably holds the approximately 23 cm long Ultra-Tek whetstone, which is perfect for both sharpening and straightening the edge of your Kershaw blade.

To sharpen, the edge is placed against the diamond-coated steel at about a 20-degree angle, and the blade is moved from neck to tip over the steel, alternating on both sides of the blade. In a short time, the edge will have returned to its original sharpness. It always makes sense to keep the Ultra-Tek within easy reach so you can touch up the blade from time to time. If you never let the blade get incredibly dull, it won't take long to maintain its edge.

The Ultra-Tek requires no water or oil. It's lightweight, easy to use, and space-saving, so you can easily take it anywhere.
