Hanwei sword oil was developed especially for blades made of carbon steel etc. to protect against rust.

Instructions for use:
The blade must be absolutely clean and dry before oiling. Apply a light film of Hanwei Sword Oil to all steel surfaces, including the handle if it is wire wrapped. A cotton ball or small piece of cloth is best for application. Be especially careful as you can quickly cut yourself on sharp blades! Before using your sword again, you should carefully wipe the oil off again so that a light, shiny film remains on the sword. Re-oil immediately after use. Check from time to time whether your swords stored in their sheaths might need oiling.
