Our early medieval Viking coat is made of sturdy cotton fabric ( canvas ) and is fully lined. The colourful embroidered border depicts a knot pattern (also called Celtic knot) and is inspired by the border of the Lärbro stone picture (Gotland). The coat has a close-fitting cut and has mitres (triangles inserted at the sides) towards the hem. Hip-high pockets are located in the side seams. Like a pack coat, this coat has no closure, so we recommend wearing it with a belt. The elaborate design and the contrasting colour details make this coat a special eye-catcher.
The look and cut of this coat correspond to the clothing of the High Middle Ages in Northern Europe. Combine it with a simple underdress, a sundress and matching accessories and you will have a harmonious outfit fit for a Viking.

How to find the right size:
To determine your dress size based on your body measurements, measure horizontally around the strongest point. For coats, use your chest circumference as a guide.
If you are between sizes, we recommend choosing the larger size.
