Down Under Knives has seen many heavy-bladed hunting knives that almost get it right. In fact, they've seen so many that they finally set out to almost scrap it and see what this style is truly capable of. Thus, the Razorback™ was born: with all the tried-and-tested features, but without the awkward bulk often associated with this type of knife. Not content with just making another slab of metal with as many sharp angles as they could fit into 12 inches of steel, they decided to give it the pleasing curves and traditional materials their customers have come to expect from other Down Under Knives products—and learned to love. This knife feels even better than it looks!

The blade's spine is gently curved downward for easy skinning and has a taper that prevents accidental punctures and makes guiding the blade easier. The back of the spine has a razor-sharp edge to easily light wood, and the heavy front profile of the blade provides all the slicing and cutting power this style is famous for. The semi-full-tang construction and full-leather handle provide a secure grip in all conditions, wet or dry. Combined with the uniquely designed heavy-duty leather sheath with real bone trim and a quick-release fastener, this knife is hard to beat for a specialized hunting/camping knife.
