Give Down Under The Knives Lover
The knife lover
Down Under Knives has been working on this knife for a while. The mission was simple: push the boundaries and create the biggest, baddest knife we could ever call ourselves, without compromising balance and usability in the slightest. To achieve this, they started with the basic dimensions and lines of a colossal vintage 1858 bowie and tweaked prototype after prototype until it looked and behaved exactly as they imagined. It's not the easiest or quickest development process in the world, but with a knife this size, you can't just slap something together in a CAD program and expect it to work. You have to touch it to know you've done it right.
Mistress™ is Down Under Knives’ first curved-back design, placing even more mass behind the arc of the blade exactly where it matters for unprecedented slicing and cutting power. To complete the shape, Down Under Knives gave the knife a distinctive coffin handle and a solid S-style forend crafted from a monolithic block of solid brass. During development, it was decided to make the SA a style more common on swords of the era. When you hold it in your hand, you’ll know why: in this size category, it simply works better this way.
Finally, Down Under Knives packaged this beast in its signature heavy leather sheath, designed to match the Toothpick™.
