3-Barrel Swivel Gun with Eagle Head – France, 18th Century

The roar of gunpowder in the corsair's fist

On the slippery decks of a galleon or in the shadows of the alleys of Saint-Malo, the crack of a spark could mean the difference between life and death. This 3-Barrel Swivel Gun with Eagle Head , a faithful reproduction of an 18th-century French weapon, evokes the reckless spirit of the pirates and soldiers who braved the seas and history with steel and gunpowder.

This unique piece stands out for its carved eagle-head stock , a symbol of vision, power, and dominance. Made of solid metal with ivory-effect plastic grips , it faithfully reproduces the weapons that were symbols of self-defense in a time of uncertainty and violence.

The Spark that Ignited Destiny

Like all flintlock pistols, it used a flint stone that, when the hammer was struck, ignited the gunpowder. With three rotating barrels, it offered the shooter multiple shots before having to reload, a luxury amid the chaos of boarding or dueling.

Short-ranged but powerful, these weapons weren't just for shooting. Once unloaded, they were used as improvised clubs or substituted for a sword blade. Therefore, this pistol wasn't just a weapon: it was a survival resource, an extension of the warrior's will.
