Without a doubt this is Master Hunter®. one of the finest hunting knives Cold Steel® has ever produced. The knife is available with either a Japanese San Mai® steel blade or an American CPM 3V carbon steel. On both models, the broad blade has been ground to achieve the ideal cross section and blade geometry for hunting applications. It has also been polished to a razor-sharp edge, allowing for effortless cutting. The drop point tip is ideal for skinning and gutting hunted game. The 5mm thick blade spine provides the strength and rigidity needed to gut and skin even the largest of animals.



The handle allows for longer, fatigue-free use. It is made from shock-resistant, highly tactile Kray-Ex™ fabric and features a deeply grooved surface that will prevent any slipping, no matter how wet or bloody your hands are. An added advantage of this material is its durability: it won’t rot, shrink, crack, splinter or mildew and is completely resistant to the harshest weather conditions, always maintaining its comfort, even during prolonged use.



A robust secure-ex® sheath, suitable for almost any belt, guarantees optimum protection and allows you to carry the knife effortlessly all day long.



Cpm 3v steel

Blades made from American CPM 3V steel can be provided with extremely fine cutting edges, which are also highly resistant to chipping. Despite its considerable price, this steel has enjoyed increasing popularity among knife makers in recent years. This modern tool steel is surprisingly hard and extremely wear-resistant. It is a fine-grained powder steel. With its very uniform microstructure, it offers first-class impact resistance and high edge retention even with very fine cutting edges. It is a perfect steel for larger blades where extreme durability is required.
