2Q - RFB Fighter Leather Armor
DescriptionYou're laughing too loudly. You realize it must be scaring your enemy, because no one wants to face you on the front lines anymore. They think you're crazy. Maybe you are, because the adrenaline of being in battle has left you drunk with euphoria.
If no one comes to you, it's time to fight them! A poor soldier attacks you desperately, and you feel the blow of his sword against your rusty RFB combat armor, but it barely makes a scratch. You see the terror in his eyes as your laughter fills the field and you unleash the force of your axe upon him.
You are Raynor Ironshood. Let them fear you. Let everyone fear you.
DETAILS
Epic Armory's Battle-Ready Second-Rate Combat Armor is our elegant leather breastplate, which suffered some rust damage while being shipped to our warehouse (see photos). The rust is minimal and doesn't affect the security of this armor, and it can be improved with a little elbow grease and special care. Rather than throwing them away and wasting material, we're offering them at a discounted price to suit the needs of your more rugged character.
The armor is constructed of brown leather cut from tanned chrome hide and riveted with brass studs over soft split leather. The elongated sides protect the flanks, while the shorter front and back plates are secured together by sturdy leather straps and iron buckles. The shoulder guards are reinforced with a leather strap running from the front plate to another set of iron buckles at the back. This makes the armor highly adjustable, allowing a perfect fit for each wearer.
This armor features an extra hem with soft leather to prevent it from warping with excessive use. The armor is fully interchangeable with other Epic Armory products and is also lightweight with a distinctive yet neutral style that will suit almost any world or character you wish to take on your first adventure.
This second-hand product is available in black and brown, and in small, medium, large, and extra-large sizes.

Maintenance
Natural leather products are very durable, but they require regular maintenance. Use leather care products to keep them supple and increase their lifespan. Make sure your leather products stay dry when stored. Let wet leather dry naturally before treating it. If it gets wet and dries frequently, increase the frequency of maintenance.
Cleaning
Clean by removing dirt with a stiff brush, then gently rub leather soap with a clean, damp cloth until the leather looks clean. Remove the soap with a separate damp cloth to clean any soap residue, and then use a dry cloth to wipe away any remaining water from the leather.
Conditioning
You should always condition leather after cleaning it, as the soap will have removed some of its natural oils. Treat the leather with mink oil, olive oil, or beeswax using a clean cloth, gently rubbing a small amount of oil or wax into the leather in circles. Allow the leather to soak in the oil before wiping it with a final clean cloth to remove excess residue.
