Twin-Barrel Swivel Gun – The Roar of Dances

The double shot of 18th-century British ingenuity

In the fog of British ports and on the decks of ships sailing the Atlantic, weapons engineering began to forge masterpieces that would mean the difference between life and death. This twin-barreled flintlock pistol , designed by the celebrated gunsmith W. Bailes in 1750, represents the mechanical ingenuity of an age when every shot counted.

Unlike conventional weapons, this pistol allowed two consecutive shots thanks to its rotating barrel system . In the heat of a fight, when a single shot could seal fate, the second shot offered a final, decisive opportunity . It was a rarity in its time, a symbol of status, foresight, and advanced technology for officers, adventurers, and privateers alike.

A Historical Piece of English Accuracy

This non-functional reproduction is made of durable metal with ivory-effect plastic grips and features a simulated loading and firing mechanism that faithfully reproduces the authentic action of the original weapon. Its design is inspired by the models created by W. Bailes, whose firm was synonymous with innovation and reliability in 18th-century Britain.

A work by Denix (Spain) , this piece is perfect for collectors, historical recreations and thematic exhibitions .
