Luger P08 1145 Parabellum Pistol – Echo of the World Wars
The lethal elegance of German steel, reborn in a faithful and imposing replica.
From the battlefields of Europe to the collective imagination of the 20th century, the Luger P08 has earned a privileged place as one of the most iconic handguns of all time. Available in black or wood finish, this replica faithfully revives the shape and spirit of a legendary design.
Conceived in 1898 by engineer Georg Luger , the Parabellum—also known as the P08 model —introduced a revolutionary recoil system with an internal slide and articulated arm , breaking away from the technical standards of the time. Its accuracy, ergonomics, and reliability earned it official adoption by the German Army.
Widely used during both World Wars 1 and 2 , the Luger P08 survived even the limitations imposed by the Treaty of Versailles . It was one of the first pistols designed to use the 9x19 Parabellum cartridge, a round that took its name from the Latin motto “Si vis pacem, para bellum” (“If you want peace, prepare for war”).
More than a million units were manufactured by various arsenals, and its fame spread among soldiers, collectors, and enthusiasts. Throughout the 20th century, the Luger was much more than a weapon: it was a symbol of power, precision, and military prestige .
