When brewers from Upper Bavaria and Holstein meet, it is sometimes fun. Then the glasses clink loudly in the dark night until it gets dark.



Zappenduster Imperial Oatmeal Stout was created from a collaboration between Camba Bavaria and Wacken Brewery. Since this oatmeal stout is brewed with oats and roasted malts, it complies with the German purity law of 1516. The name is of course a reference to the colour, but also to the high alcohol content.



Zappenduster is strong, roasty, warm and yet as dark as a moonless night. The stout impresses with its complex aromatic density, with roasted, coffee-like aromas in the foreground, surrounded by creamy dark chocolate, black fruits and a note of breadcrumbs.

This complex variety of aromas is supported by a velvety, silky and at the same time warm body, which is compensated by a pronounced bitterness.
