Most Yggdrasils protect the nine worlds of the Norse pantheon. Yggdrasil, the world tree, is the embodiment of the entire cosmos and thus also symbolises diversity. That is why some of the Wacken Brewery’s special and diverse brewing creations are united under the canopy of the world ash Yggdrasil.

This copper-red Irish red ale is fermented relatively lean. The fruity aromas of red berries combine harmoniously with subtle caramel and toffee notes from the malt. Only in the finish does the hop dominate and provide a long-lasting, pleasantly fresh bitterness.
