Most Yggdrasils protect the nine worlds of the Norse pantheon. Yggdrasil, the world tree, is the embodiment of the entire cosmos and therefore also symbolizes diversity. Therefore, some of the Wacken Brewery's special and diverse beer creations are united under the canopy of the world tree Yggdrasil.

This coppery-red Irish red ale is fermented relatively lean. The fruity aromas of red berries blend harmoniously with subtle caramel and toffee notes from the malt. Only in the finish do the hops dominate, providing a lasting and pleasantly fresh bitterness.
