The branches of Yggdrasil house the nine worlds of the Norse pantheon. Yggdrasil, the world tree, is the embodiment of the entire cosmos and therefore also symbolises diversity. That is why some of the Wacken Brewery's special and varied brewing creations are brought together under the mantle of the world ash tree Yggdrasil.



This copper-red Irish red ale is fermented relatively lean. The fruity aromas of red berries combine harmoniously with subtle caramel and toffee notes from the malt. Only in the finish does the hop dominate and provide a long-lasting, pleasantly fresh bitterness.
