This small handleless mug is handcrafted from calf's horn, polished and engraved with a motif of the Fenris wolf (also fenrir , fenris or fenrisúlfr ). decorated.

In Germanic mythology, Fenrir, the son of the evil god Loki and the giantess Angrboda, is one of the enemies of the world. He fights against the existing order and ultimately embodies the destruction of the world. The gods recognize his danger, use a trick to chain him to a rock and sink him deep into the earth. The wolf is tamed for a long time until finally, during the twilight of the gods, he breaks his chains and devours Odin. Widar, Odin’s son, kills Fenrir, but it is too late – the father of the gods falls and with him the world order.
