Get Horn Cup - Fenrir

Authentic horn cup, without handle

Fenrir, the Norse wolf

This small, handleless cup is handcrafted from calf horn, polished and engraved with a decorated Fenris Wolf (also fenrir , fenris , or fenrisúlfr ) motif.

In Germanic mythology, Fenrir, son of the evil god Loki and the giantess Angrboda, is one of the enemies of the world. He fights against the existing order and ultimately embodies the destruction of the world. The gods recognize his danger and use a trick to chain him to a rock and sink him deep into the earth. The wolf is tamed for a long time until finally, during the twilight of the gods, he breaks his chains and devours Odin. Widar, Odin's son, kills Fenrir, but it is too late. The father of the gods falls, and with him the order of the world.

The rustic and highly decorative glass we offer here is ideal not only for recreational purposes but also for everyday use. Whether in a medieval setting or a modern home, it's sure to be an eye-catcher on any dining table.

For hygiene reasons, the inside of the horn is painted food-safe, so you can enjoy your favorite beverage to the fullest.

A great gift idea for today's Viking!
