For decades, Lynn C. Thompson has used her limited “free” time to travel the world and test hunting and fishing products. On these trips to far-off lands, she not only handles the processing of the game she kills (and which is then donated to local communities), but she also devotes what little time she has left to the constant search for new insights and insightful information, or professional tips and tricks, and meets with every local butcher, fisherman, hunter or cook.

Each model in the series is made from 4116 steel, ground to razor-sharp precision and can be easily re-sharpened on the job or in the field. All handles are constructed from a rigid, durable zy-ex™ core and a softer, food-grade kray-ex™ outer layer that provides a comfortable, non-slip grip even after hours of use.



I have had the privilege of going on many hunting adventures with Tim Wells around the world and have always been impressed with his knowledge and talent. When he fell in love with the Seller knife from our commercial series, I suggested he make a Slock Master version. 4116 stainless steel knife

4116 steel is a fine-grained stainless knife steel. It is often used for pharmaceutical equipment and high-quality kitchen knives. Its balanced carbon-chromium ratio ensures first-class rust protection and high strength. Very fine and extremely sharp cutting edges can be ground. An excellent choice for hunting/outdoor knives and kitchen knives and utensils.
