Replica of a narrow, early medieval axe suitable for combat. This form of Sax (Seax) became popular among the Franks, Saxons, and Scandinavians in the mid-6th century.
This Sax (Seax) is a battle-ready reconstruction with a blunt blade and rounded tip. The wooden handle scales are riveted to the tang. A brown suede sheath with two belt loops is included.
