Over the years, Pendleton Hunters® has become increasingly popular and by popular demand, Cold Steel® is also a more economical Pendleton that is affordable for almost every budget.



With its flip-point blade, simple hand guard, grooved bolster, and flared handle end for better grip in slippery and rough conditions, the Pendleton Lite Hunter is very similar in appearance to the classic Lloyd Pendleton models. The only significant differences are the use of cryogenically treated 4116 stainless steel, and the use of impact-resistant polypropylene for the handle.



This knife was made by cold steel® and tested in practice and received top marks. In the field, it was equally suitable for gutting and skinning animals, had decent edge resistance, was easy to sharpen and proved to be incredibly robust.

4116 stainless steel knife

4116 steel is a fine-grained stainless knife steel. It is often used for pharmaceutical equipment and high-quality kitchen knives. Its balanced carbon-chromium ratio ensures first-class rust protection and high strength. Very fine and extremely sharp cutting edges can be ground. An excellent choice for hunting/outdoor knives and kitchen knives and utensils.
