The remains of one such mace were found in the Thames, but it was used throughout Europe. This type of mace required little finesse: a warrior strong enough to wield it could probably break helmets and swords with its powerful blows.



The mace consists of four steel rods, with a leather-wrapped wooden handle and a large steel pommel that provides balance.
