The Finn Bear was designed based on the Finnish model. It's an ideal outdoor companion and also impresses as a multi-purpose knife!

Its 4116 stainless steel blade has been heat-treated, hollow-ground, and hardened to approximately 1/8" (25 mm). Therefore, it has good edge strength but can also be easily resharpened in the field. It also features a sturdy point for piercing and plenty of room for skinning and cutting. It's large and tough enough to skin game, yet thin and delicate enough to slice a tomato or chop an apple.

For improved traction, the polypropylene handle has a gently grooved structure. With its diamond-shaped cross-section, it allows for a variety of gripping techniques and fits your hand like a glove.

For safe and comfortable carrying, the Finn Bear comes with a versatile, discreet, pouch-like polymer sheath. This means it can be easily worn on a belt or stored in a backpack or tackle box.

4116 stainless steel knife

4116 steel is a fine-grained stainless steel for knives. It is often used for pharmaceutical equipment and high-quality kitchen knives. Its balanced carbon-chromium ratio ensures first-class rust protection and high strength. It can be ground to very fine and extremely sharp cutting edges. An excellent choice for hunting/outdoor knives and kitchen knives and utensils.
