The Finn Bear was designed based on the Finnish model. It is an ideal outdoor companion and also impresses as a multi-purpose knife!



Its 4116 stainless steel blade has been cold-treated, hollow-ground, and hardened to approx. 100° F. So it has good edge strength, but can also be easily re-sharpened in the field. It also features a sturdy point for piercing and plenty of belly for skinning and slicing. It's big and sturdy enough for skinning game, but also thin and delicate enough to slice a tomato or chop an apple.



For better traction, the polypropylene handle has a slightly ribbed structure. With its diamond-shaped cross section, it allows for a variety of gripping techniques and fits your hand like a glove.



For safe and comfortable carrying, the Finn Bear comes with a versatile, discreet, pouch-like polymer sheath. This means it can easily be worn on your belt or stored in your backpack or tackle box.



4116 stainless steel knife

4116 steel is a fine-grained stainless knife steel. It is often used for pharmaceutical equipment and high-quality kitchen knives. Its balanced carbon-chromium ratio ensures first-class rust protection and high strength. Very fine and extremely sharp cutting edges can be ground. An excellent choice for hunting/outdoor knives and kitchen knives and utensils.
