With luck, and some skill, you'll manage to catch a rabbit in one of your traps. You think it's surprising that some wolf hasn't already caught such a big morsel. As you shoulder the rabbit and head home, you hope your own family is overjoyed at the loss of the wolf.

You skin the creature outside the front step of your modest home using your hunter's throwing knife, saving the fur to convert into something useful. With a few more deft strokes of your knife, your rabbit will be ready for stew.

DETAILS

The Epic Armoury Hunter Throwing Knife is a curved knife designed to look ideal for a deadly throw. This 9.5-inch knife has a 6.3-inch single-edged blade with inlay. The 3.5-inch handle is hand-painted and sculpted to resemble wood with two small nails, framed by a brass pommel and crossguard.

The Hunter Throwing Knife complements most of Epic Armoury's high- and low-fantasy products. Made from durable, coreless, closed-cell foam and finished with a durable latex coating, you can be sure this throwing knife will provide the safety and appeal you desire when building your kit.

HISTORY

• Designed to resemble a “balanced knife,” the one preferred by most Western traditions
