It's obvious why Kershaw nicknamed the Launch 10 the Claw. It features a nimble, tortoiseshell-style blade with angled surfaces on the spine and handle.

But despite all that angularity, the Launch 10 is comfortable to carry, hold, and use. With its curved blade and sharp tip position, the knife is especially useful for opening packages or shredding boxes. And thanks to its excellent cutting ability when pulling the cuts, it can also easily handle ropes and cords.

The stonewashed blade is made from CPM 154, a powder-coated steel that offers excellent sharpness and edge retention, and also features good corrosion resistance, wear resistance, and durability. While the claw-shaped blade is curved downward, the handle (made from tough yet lightweight anodized aluminum) is raised toward the end. This results in a balanced and harmonious overall look and ensures a secure grip.

The Launch 10 features an integrated backspacer with a generous lanyard hole and a deep-carry convertible pocket clip. The knife can be quickly opened and unlocked by pressing a button on the handle, allowing the blade to fold back into the handle after use. The button's low profile reduces the risk of accidental activation.
