You arrive at the front lines amidst exhausted and bloodied soldiers, who regain their strength when they see you at their side. With a single blow, your axe pierces the enemy line, past their shields and into their ranks.

DETAILS

The Epic Armoury Halberd is a 190cm latex axe inspired by a weapon used during the late medieval period. The axe-shaped halberd head has a 35cm blade for chopping, a long spear for piercing, and a claw-like prong for gripping. The axe head is specially reinforced to make the weapon durable and versatile. Hand-painted and sculpted to look realistic, detailed metal and bolts run through the pole, which is carved to look like weathered wood.

Made from durable closed-cell foam around a fiberglass core and finished with a strong latex coating, you can be sure that your LARP weapon will provide the security and appeal you desire when building your kit.

HISTORY

• Prominent during the 14th and 15th centuries
• The term comes from the German words Halm (walking stick) and Barte (axe)
• Typically designed to keep mounted troops at a distance, but was considered versatile
• Spikes were added to the hammer head to attack mounted opponents
