Extrema Ratio has received many requests for a survival knife and has therefore decided to develop a knife that can handle any situation.

The Ontos is a pure field knife, sturdy and heavy, yet compact. Part of the upper blade has a serrated edge for a sharp edge when needed.

In an emergency, when you need to abandon your main heavy gear, you'll be happy to carry the Ontos thanks to its MOLLE-compatible nylon side sheath. Emergency gear is stored in a pouch that attaches to the nylon sheath via a MOLLE system. This makes the Ontos a true survival tool. The kit also includes a light bar (12 hours of illumination) and a diamond sharpener.
