Early medieval birka-type laminar armor made of steel and leather
This replica of an early medieval lamellar armour with shoulder/upper arm and full back protection is made from 1.25mm thick D-scale steel and leather.
On one side, the armor is equipped with three adjustable leather straps with bronze buckles.
The finds from Birka and Visby (Sweden) show that this type of armour was very popular among the northern Germans during the Viking Age. But scale armour continued into the
